Creative Arts Program for Survivors
Did you know that the Victoria Brain Injury Society offers a Creative Arts Program for brain injury survivors?
Facilitator Katusha Dmitrieva runs the program every Monday from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. in the Fernwood area.
This holistic approach to recovery offers survivors a chance to use the creative process of art-making to improve and enhance their physical, mental and emotional well-being.
We believe that the creative process involved in artistic self-expression helps survivors work through challenges, develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress, increase self-esteem and self-awareness and achieve insight.
To learn more about the program, or to sign up, please call our office at (250) 598-9339.
We'd love to hear from you!
