The battle begins! For the first time ever Victoria Brain Injury Society is participating in in the annual Loonie Wars against Campbell River Head Injury Support Society, Powell River Brain Injury Society and Comox Valley Head Injury Society.
This is a fun way to raise community awareness about brain injuries as well as provide funds to support local brain injury survivors. From Friday, February 19th till the 29th we will compete to see who can collect the most loonies to provide vital support to brain injury survivors. Help Victoria Brain Injury Society win the prestigious Loonie War Trophy and show the other Island societies how much the people of Victoria care about brain injury survivors.
Schools, service clubs, businesses, Churches and neighborhoods are encouraged to get involved in the fun by challenging each other to see who can contribute the most loonies.
The money donated in each municipality stays in each community.
Your donation can be made by: hosting a container in a local businesses; donating directly to our office at 830 Pembroke Street, or donating online at https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/victoria-brain-injury-society/.
